Hi, I am Sadie, the owner of Run and Relax and as a keen runner I have a wealth of experience and qualifications. In the last few years I have completed 6 marathons and numerous half marathons, 10 milers, 10Ks and 5Ks. I have been running since 2001 and take part in Circuit Training and other fitness training. I started running after signing up for The Race for Life. At that time, although I had always been active, I had not run further than a couple of miles. After the initial panic I started training and realised how great running was. I loved the high feeling after every run and soon became hooked and began my running and fitness qualifications. Like most runners, I have had my fair share of injuries including stress fractures, pulled muscles and broken ankles therefore first hand experience as well as formal qualifications enable me to treat individual problems for clients. I regularly attend courses to update my knowledge and qualifications.

There is plenty of  information and advice about different aspects of running and personal views on various issues related to running and health. Although there is a huge amount of knowledge out there it is sometimes difficult to find information on specific points that are relevant to you and situations that you can identify with.

  • Qualified in ‘Motivation and Changing Behaviour’
